Just wanted to share info with the list on a great website many of you may already know about:
www.badastronomy.com run by Philip Plait, of the phyiscs and astronomy department of Sonoma State University, a member of the California State University system, near San Francisco. He runs this website in an admirable attempt to combat rampant misinformation about various astronomical topics, including comets (and by extension, meteors). Since we often find ourselves fighting this battle ourselves, I just wanted to let everyone know we have a key ally on our side. Check out the website if you have not already and spread the word...
