Description:
At 44x M19 looks very dense and has a bright core. I can not see any individual stars yet. At 118x M19 is starting to show the brighter stars near the middle of the cluster. There are two bright stars north-northeast by the cluster. These are the two brightest stars of the cluster. Using peripheral vision at 118x I can make out some of the brighter stars without difficulty. At 178x M19 shows a bit more detail than at 118x but with difficulty using peripheral vision.
