Description:
This was powdery blue in color. The Eskimo Nebula was large enough to
easily pick it out from the background stars. It showed a brighter central
region with a dimmer outer region at 157x. I tried 314x, but the wind was
picking up and shaking things a bit too much to make any notes. The central
star was easily noted at 157x with averted vision. Note: with the blinking
nebula-averted vision is used to show the nebula and block out the central
star, but with the Eskimo...the central star showed itself nicely with averted
vision.
